Catullo Caves

The “Catullo Caves” are the most imposing archaeological area in Northern Italy. They are ruins of an impressive villa with several spas where the spring water flowing out into the lake was probably used.

Here visitors can admire the massive walls of the villa which hold up the structure and some service rooms. Striking (didn’t go unnoticed to visitors of the past as well) is the harmony between the ancient rose-coloured stones and the beauty of the landscape where they are located.
